Meet the Team
CEO & Co-Founder
Duncan McCall is the CEO and co-founder of PlaceIQ, the leading location-intelligence company that helps brands make better marketing and business decisions.
As a serial innovator, Duncan is credited with inventing the concept of joining movement data to a dynamic map of the real world to offer new context for a new level of understanding – allowing brands, marketers, and enterprises to transform their insight into customers and markets. PlaceIQ’s data is harnessed for mission critical business strategies by the top companies in retail, dining, auto, and more. Duncan is also a widely sought-after speaker on the topic of leveraging location-intelligent data.
Prior to PlaceIQ, Duncan founded and led a venture backed consumer Internet business with the goal of enabling and empowering users of location aware devices. Duncan also built and led IS Solutions Inc., a premier Silicon Valley based System Integrator. His time spent working on RFID and universal positioning startups would later be the foundation on which PlaceIQ was built. Outside of the startup world, Duncan has also made an impact for one of the world’s largest organizations in working for ExxonMobil, in the UK and Asia.
Matt got his advertising start serving in both the finance and sales operations organizations at AOL. While at AOL, Matt held numerous positions where he was charged with everything from analyzing sell-through rates and CPMs to organizing sales expenditures and revenue. Before AOL, Matt worked as a business consultant at IBM in the government projects group. Matt received his MBA in finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business and his BA in economics from The George Washington University.
EVP, Business Development & Marketing
Nadya has worked extensively in the Media, Consumer Products, Retail, and High Tech fields, with global brands such as AMEX, Mars, Wal-Mart, Microsoft and T-Mobile.
Drew joined PlaceIQ after spending the better part of a decade crafting brand and media strategies for advertising agencies and their clients, including HP, Glaxo Smith Klein, EA and Boost Mobile.
Eddie has over 20 years experience building data & technology companies within the digital world. Prior to PlaceIQ, Eddie worked at Twitter as Head of Ads API, growing Twitter’s Ads API ecosystem from zero to producing hundreds of millions in transaction revenue annually, in addition to leading Twitter’s business development team. Before Twitter, Eddie was Chief Revenue Officer with Topsy, where he led sales, business development and marketing disciplines which brought to market world-class analytics and search solutions leveraging social data. Previous positions include senior product & business development roles with USA Data and DoubleClick.
Eddie holds a master’s degree in Advertising from Florida State University.
